Cranston Public Library Records Management Policy
It is the policy of the Cranston Public Library to recognize the importance of proper management of public records created by the library in the course of providing effective library services to the community. The library will manage records in accordance with all applicable state law and the rules and regulations of the Rhode Island Secretary of State’s Public Records Administration.
It is also the policy of Cranston Public Library to protect the confidentiality of patron records and the privacy of patron interest and inquiry. Please see the Cranston Public Library Privacy Policy.
