Contactless pick-up is currently available at Central, Auburn, Knightsville, and Oak Lawn. Contactless pickup at Hall has been delayed due to ongoing parking lot renovations and will begin on or after May 23.
To request library materials at all locations (except Arlington) you can either:

Please have your library card number ready. We will be checking out the materials to you directly, so we will be asking you for additional personal information located in your account in order to ensure that we have the right person. (If you don't already have a library card, you can apply for one online here: https://www.oslri.org/application/)
Limit: 5 items per library card (for now) on new requests.
We will do our best to fulfill your requests for in-stock items in a timely manner; holds on materials at other libraries may not be possible at this time.
You may call or submit online forms to multiple Cranston Public Library locations and request materials from each.
Library staff will inform you of available pickup times, which will vary for each location.
Central Pickup Hours:
Please note that staffing will be limited at this time. We will fulfill orders for materials as soon as possible.
Please approach the pickup table located at the entrance to the library. No entry to the library at this time. Please identify yourself to the staff person, who will stand at least 6 feet from you.
Auburn Branch pickup: please call 401-781-6116 when you arrive for pickup.
Staff will verify who you are, then place your materials on the table.
Please wait until the staff member steps back before retrieving your items.
Please observe social distancing lines in order to keep 6 feet apart from your fellow library users.
Staff will print documents on demand for patrons if you call or email.
Remote printing using PrinterOn currently available at the Central library only.
Free printing up to 10 pages; pick up following contactless procedures outlined above.
