Reducing Anxiety Through Meditation

Life is full of anxieties and stress, perhaps now more than ever before. Come to this workshop to learn how to calm body and mind by sitting in meditation. Find a place of happiness and peace within to reduce anxiety and fortify against the stresses of life. Join long-time meditator Umesh Bhatia for this informative lecture which will include a chance to meditate.

Umesh Bhatia, M.S., is an accomplished Franchising and IT entrepreneur.  For 30+ years he has successfully developed franchising and IT businesses in the USA, the UK, India, China, Japan, and the Middle East. He is a long time meditation practitioner and currently provides workshops and training to groups throughout the US and internationally where he connects meditation and spiritual development to important aspects of our daily lives. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and has two adult children.


Meditation for a Healthy Lifestyle

Inner peace can seem elusive in this fast-paced world. Long-time meditator Nirav Sheth will lead an engaging workshop about practical strategies to reduce stress and create a healthier, more positive lifestyle.   Nirav will offer effective meditation techniques that enable practitioners to gain a real and profound sense of serenity and joy.   The session will include a short meditation sitting.

Nirav Sheth has served in senior positions in global medical device companies and is the Founder and President of Stratosphere, LLC, a business and life strategy and marketing consulting firm.  Nirav has a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He has 10 patents and 11 publications in scientific journals.  

 Nirav has been conducting meditation classes at Smiths Medical, Medtronic, and other venues in Minnesota and around the country for 10 years and has been practicing meditation for over 15 years. He lives with his wife and two children in the Minneapolis area.

Arvind Naik is an Electronics Engineer and works as a Data Architect and Business Professional in Information Technology. He has been giving lectures and workshops on the topic of meditation, specializing in the life-changing benefits of incorporating the practice into daily routines with a focus on physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Arvind regularly speaks at local community centers, corporate and scientific events, and to members of law enforcement. He lives in Minnesota and is married with two teenage sons.
