Any group requesting the use of the Cranston Public Library meeting rooms must fill out a Meeting Room Request Form for the room they wish to use. Please select the room below to find the request form for each room:
There is a small fee to use the James T. Giles Community Room, William Hall Library Program Room, and William Hall Library Auditorium. The small conference rooms are available at no charge. Please select a room above to find the request form for each room.
The James T. Giles Community Room may be reserved once per quarter. All other rooms may be reserved once per month.
Sometimes. The Central Library Seminar Room and the William Hall Library Conference Room may be available on a walk-in basis. Please ask a staff member.
Unfortunately, we do not have Meeting Rooms or Study Rooms for use by just one person. Our Meeting Rooms are for groups of 2 or more people. Videoconferencing equipment is available in the Central Library Seminar Room and William Hall Library Conference room for use.
Food and drink (no alcohol) are allowed in the James T. Giles Community Room, William Hall Library Program Room, and William Hall Library Auditorium. No food is allowed in the Central Library Seminar Room or the William Hall Library Conference Room; however, covered drinks are allowed in those rooms. Please report any spills to staff immediately.
Just ask! We have various equipment, like easels and markers, that may be borrowed for your meeting.
